Collaborate to Combat Trafficking and Build Futures!
We are building a community of women in the greater DC area to collaboratively support trafficking survivors and vulnerable girls in India,- working together with the women and girls so they can create their own bright futures free from trafficking and exploitation.
Everyone's dreams and path is different, but we all share some of the same goals - to live in freedom, to fulfill our potential, to have a voice and choices, to keep our children safe and educated. The girls in India and Nepal that Her Future Coalition works with, have been denied choice and opportunity their whole lives. Many have been trafficked or born into brothel communities or slums where they are at extreme risk for trafficking, child marriage, extreme domestic abuse and total oppression.
Yet these girls have incredible strength, talents, and powerful motivation to get out of these terrible situations and build a different kind of life.
In January 2025 we will be leading a trip to Kolkata to meet the girls and see the programs firsthand. Please join us! Or if that's not your bag, then please join our community in this area and let's learn, spark positive change, raise awareness in our community, and find creative ways to raise funds and spread the word.
Every dollar that we raise goes incredibly far in India and Nepal. Any help that you give will be transformative in a vulnerable girl or survivor's life.
